Winners of Novi Sad World Guitar Competition

In the first round of the competition participated 24 guitarists, 10 of them beeing selected by the jury to perform in the final round:

  2. Bor Zuljan (Slovenia)
  3. Camilo Verga (Argentina)
  4. Jelica Mijanovic (Montenegro)
  5. Jose Miguel Suarez (Mexico)
  6. Laszlo Horvath (Hungary)
  7. Rodrigo Maluf (Brasil, Italy)
  8. Sabrina Vlaskalic (Serbia)
  9. Sanel Redžić (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany)
  10. Seres Borbala (Hungary)

First place ($5000) was won by Hungarian Borbala Seres, who studied at the Music Academy in Vienna with Professor Alvaro Pierri. The second prize ($2000) was won by Sanel Redžić from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the third prize ($1000) went to Sabrina Vlaškalić from Serbia.

The jury was formed by Aniello Desiderio (President, Italy), Vera Ogrizovic (Serbia), Gaëlle Solal (France) and David Pavlovic (Hungary).
