He started studying guitar at the age of 7, as a member of the vocal-instrumental ensemble Danube Waves. Between 1991-1995 he deepened his studies in the field of music at the "Hariclea Darclée" High School of Arts, in the class of Prof. Lucian Macedon. After graduating from vocational high school, he began his specialized university studies at the “Gheorghe Dima” Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca, Piatra-Neamț Extension, under the guidance of professors Constantin Andrei and Ștefan Trifan. He completed his studies at the "George Enescu" University of Arts in Iași, specializing in Musical Perfomance - Classical Guitar, class of Prof. Daniel Dragomirescu.
Since 1995 he is an active teacher in the cultural and musical life of the Municipality of Brăila. In 2011 he founded the guitars trio Trio Milonga with teachers Alexandra Gurgu and Mădălin Nedelcu, supporting a series of shows at various prestigious cultural institutions in the Brăila. He is currently a teacher at the classical guitar department of the “Hariclea Darclée” High School of Arts in Brăila and can be proud of a generous collection of prizes obtained by his students at national and international competitions. Together with professor Mădălin Nedelcu, in 2016 he founded the band “Darclée Music Band”, promoting both classical music and other genres (pop, rock, jazz) among young artists.
