Aleksa Šarčević

Aleksa Šarčević was born in Šabac, Serbia, on 28th of August 2001. He started playing classical guitar at the age of 9. He finished elementary and music high school at music school „Mihailo Vukdragović“, in Šabac, in the class of prof. Stanislav Stanojević. Later he pursues academic education at the Faculty of musical arts in Belgrade. Today he is a on third year of bachelor studies in the class of prof. Vera Ogrizović.

So far, he has won over 50 awards on the national and international classical guitar competitions and also attended Masterclasses with world renowned classical guitarists and musicians, such as: Zoran Dukić, Dušan Bogdanović, Thomas Müller-Pering, Hubert Käppel, Sergio Assad, Jeremy Jouve, Pavel Steidl, Denis Azabagić, Sanel Redžić, etc.

Some of the numerous awards he has won so far are: 1st prize at Guitar Art festival in Belgrade, 2019; 1st prize at Transilvania international guitar festival 2019; 3rd prize at International Guitar Festival „Alirio Diaz“ in Rust, 2021; 3rd prize at Rago international guitar competition in Stuttgart, 2020 and many more.
