Vera Negreanu
Vera Negreanu, pianist, graduate of the "I.Vidu" Music High School in Timișoara and the "Gh. Dima" Cluj, Cluj-Napoca, class of 1979, worked as a piano teacher at the Deva School of Art (1979-1990) and at the "S.Toduță" Music High School Cluj-Napoca (1991-1993), as well as a teacher at the "Gh.Dima" National Academy of Music Cluj-Napoca (1993-present).
Since 1993 he has been teaching chamber music and accompaniment at ANMGD. The students of his chamber music class have won more than 50 national and international prizes, along with numerous chamber music concerts held at the institution in Cluj-Napoca and in the country. He has given master classes - chamber music at - Salon de Provence (France) Projet pour les jeunes - 2009, 2010, at Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Viena (Austria) - 2015 and at Cluj-Napoca - Colegiul de Artă "Sigismund Toduță" - 2022. As an accompanist pianist he has a rich artistic activity with more than 200 recitals with students of trombone and percussion classes.
His concert activity, as a pianist in various chamber ensembles, includes more than 150 recitals and concerts, with more than 50 works in first audition or absolute first audition, performed in Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Bucharest, Sibiu, Brașov, Tg. Mureș, Satu-Mare, Deva, Bistrița, Bacău, Baia-Mare, Craiova, as well as Freiburg, München (Germany), Chișinău (R.Moldova). Among the outstanding concert appearances are the participations in the "Toamna Muzicală Clujană", "Festival of Chamber Music" - Brasov, "C.Silvestri" Festival in Tg. Mureș, "Cluj Modern" Festival and "World Music Days" Cluj, as well as concerts in collaboration with the Philharmonics of Satu-Mare, Bacău, Tg.Mureș, Craiova and Sibiu.
